當大家在爭論詹姆斯（LeBron James）與柯瑞（Stephen Curry）的總決賽MVP誰屬，結果卻出現意外，伊古達拉（Andre Iguodala）獲得總決賽MVP！
柯瑞未能成為歷史上第11位包攬季賽與總決賽MVP的球員；而詹姆斯總決賽封神的演出，35.8分13.3籃板8.3助攻，因為騎士落敗而無緣。
騎士以97：105落敗，勇士奪取2015年的總冠軍。伊古達拉總決賽平均貢獻16.3分5.8籃板4助攻，力壓詹姆斯與柯瑞，奪取總決賽MVP。
總決賽前3場，伊古達拉被當成替補，總共只獲得37分，表現平平，勇士以1：2落後，第4戰大膽變陣，將伊古達拉放進先發陣容，結果大獲成功。後3場比賽，伊古達拉平均貢獻20.3分7籃板4助攻，更重要的是，在他的嚴防死守下，詹姆斯的效率開始下滑。
今天封王戰，伊古達拉25分5籃板5助攻，末節他連續兩餉三分球，更是發揮定海神針的效用，穩住了勇士領先的優勢，是獲選總決賽MVP的關鍵。
值得一提的是，伊古拉成為總決賽史上首位並非全部比賽先發，卻拿到MVP的球員，甚至他本賽季季賽從未打過首發，平均只有7.8分，但就是這麼一位球員，卻在總決賽裡拿到至高榮耀。
