衛福部南投醫院MERS-CoV防疫總動員，9日進行防疫演練，南投縣各醫療院所代表，都到場觀摩；縣長林明溱期許醫護人員，熟悉防疫步驟，民眾也要自主管理，防止疫情發生。
昨天下午，MERS-CoV防疫演練由南投醫院院長洪弘昌主持，感染控制科醫師廖嘉宏，就南韓疫情及感染管制措施提出說明；正、副縣長林明溱、陳正昇及衛生局長黃昭郎，傳染病防治醫療網中區指揮官王任賢等人，都到場參與。
林明溱表示，台灣尚未發生疫情，但國人不可掉以輕心，尤其到流行疫區旅遊或洽公民眾，應注意自身狀況，如果出現相關症狀，應立即就醫。
